On average, half of grain explosions are initiated in bucket elevators. Fike designed Eleguard specifically for this type &#8211; an explosion plate that can be very easily mounted on the elevator legs. For indoor applications where discharge of the explosion to the atmosphere is undesirable or even impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fike offers flame arresters that work with the Eleguard. Full-scale blast tests have shown that the design pressure, using the Ele-Quench filter, remains the same. Therefore, there is no need to increase the size of the safety plate to maintain the assumed design pressure.
