Designed for use in hazardous areas, the devices from German manufacturer i.safe MOBILE enable the safe exchange of information under special operating conditions. Our ultra-rugged cell phones, smartphones, tablets and multifunction devices ensure safety in both hazardous areas and areas particularly exposed to outdoor conditions.
All devices meet the stringent requirements of ATEX and IECEx standards, which is confirmed by a certificate allowing the devices to be used in Ex zones. We offer our customers devices in IP 68 design, the highest used to mark the resistance class of electrical equipment, thanks to which the devices are resistant to dust and water. An additional advantage of the offered devices is compliance with the military standard MIL-STD 810G, which guarantees ultra-durability of all devices. Resistance to high temperatures allows reliable operation even in extreme conditions of use.
High-quality cell phones, smartphones, tablets or multifunctional devices in Ex design are available for areas covered by zone 1/21 and zone 2/22. For the mining industry, we offer devices in I M1 design. Selected devices are also available in industrial design for extremely harsh operating conditions.
All i.safe MOBILE devices run on the Android™ operating system, in addition to being equipped with standard solutions such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and offering a wide range of additional features. These include individually assignable buttons, an SOS button, (preparation for Push-to-Talk and Loneworker Protection (LWP)), enhanced speakers, NFC or displays that can be operated with gloves.
