Die aus diesem Material hergestellten Fasern werden unter anderem zur Herstellung von kugelsicheren Westen und Gurtb\u00e4ndern sowie als Verst\u00e4rkung beim Klettern und Segeln verwendet. Es wird unter anderem unter den Handelsnamen Spectra und Dyneema verkauft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HDPE (PE hoher Dichte, PE-HD)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Hochdichtes Polyethylen. Wird durch Niederdruckpolymerisation gewonnen. Es ist h\u00e4rter als PE-LD, hat eine h\u00f6here mechanische Festigkeit, einen h\u00f6heren Schmelzpunkt (125 \u00b0C), eine h\u00f6here Gasbarriere und eine h\u00f6here chemische Best\u00e4ndigkeit, ist bei niedrigeren Temperaturen spr\u00f6der und weniger transparent (milchig wei\u00df). Die gebr\u00e4uchlichsten PE-HD-Sorten sind PE 80 und PE 100. Dichte &#8211; 0,94-0,96 g\/cm\u00b3.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LDPE (Polyethylen niedriger Dichte, PE-LD)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Polyethylen niedriger Dichte &#8211; Transparent, biegsam und weich, bleibt bei niedrigen Temperaturen biegsam (sogar bis -60\u00b0C), geruchlos, physiologisch v\u00f6llig inert, durchl\u00e4ssig f\u00fcr Gase (Sauerstoff und Kohlendioxid) und aromatische Stoffe (Ger\u00fcche), aber nicht sehr durchl\u00e4ssig f\u00fcr Wasserdampf, schwei\u00dfempfindlich, nicht sehr best\u00e4ndig gegen h\u00f6here Temperaturen. Dichte &#8211; 0,915-0,935 g\/cm\u00b3.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LLDPE (lineares PE niedriger Dichte) Vormischung<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p> Niederdruck-PE mit linearer niedriger Dichte (kurze, unverzweigte Ketten werden durch Copolymerisation von Ethen mit l\u00e4ngerkettigen Alkenen gebildet). Dichte &#8211; 0,915-0,935 g\/cm\u00b3.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PEX-Vormischung (vernetztes PE)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Vernetztes Polyethylen, PE-Ketten vernetzt, z. B. durch Silane. Wird f\u00fcr Rohre und Isolierungen verwendet.
