Die Krone des Einsatzes ist umgekehrt konvex und am Umfang geschw\u00e4cht, so dass eine vollst\u00e4ndige \u00d6ffnung des Einsatzes ohne die Verwendung von Klingen in seiner Konstruktion gew\u00e4hrleistet ist. Aufgrund der gro\u00dfen Auswahl an Werkstoffen, darunter 316, Hastelloy\u00ae, Tantal usw., wird er in Anlagen mit hochkorrosiven Medien eingesetzt.
